American Montessori Society (AMS)
The American Montessori Society (AMS) offers two Teacher Education Scholarships per year that amount to $1,000 each. These scholarships are rewarded to students who are enrolled in an AMS-associated, teaching education program. In addition, the American Montessori Society (AMS) offers two Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Awards and two Outstanding Master's Theses Awards per year to graduate students who pursue AMS-associated, teaching education programs. Each of these awards amounts to between $250 and $1,000.
Bright Horizons Family Solutions
The Bright Horizons Family Solutions Organization offers Bright Futures Scholarships to students who are enrolled full-time in either an Associate's in Early Childhood Education Degree program or a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education Degree program. The amount of each scholarship that is offered by this organization varies between $250 and $2,500.
James Madison Memorial Fellowship Foundation
The James Madison Memorial Fellowship Foundation offers up to $24,000 in scholarship opportunities to students who plan to become American history, American government, and/or social studies teachers in secondary schools. These scholarship opportunities are offered to graduate-level students.
National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM)
The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) offers a Prospective Middle School Mathematics Teachers Course Work Scholarship in the amount of $3,000 to students who plan to become mathematics teachers in middle schools. In addition, a Prospective 7-12 Secondary Teacher Course Work Scholarship in the amount of $10,000 is offered to undergraduate students who plan to become mathematics teachers in middle schools.
